    5 minute drive from centre of Murrurundi. Large grassed area with toilets and covered picnic tables. Is also the trailhead for the Eye of the Needle walk leading to a Lookout over the township. The walking track is in need of repair and challenging in sections but is useable with some care and degree of fitness. Would recommend carrying a coat on cool days as can be windy and cold on the top of this rocky outcrop. Lookout provides good overview of Murrurundi and neighbouring range.

    Love this park up past the Mururrundi golf club..beautiful bush land to walk around or do the lookout climb if your up to it...toilets, covered picnic tables, BBQ a place of discovery n amazement..

    Clean facilities, beautiful place to spend time, Eye of the Needle walk is so well worth the time,and effort, I didn't realise how out of shape I am :-)
